Welcome to Bullet Points, a monthly newsletter about gun violence and other important things.
About Bullet Points
One day I asked on Twitter, “What is your biggest barrier to getting involved in advocating for gun reform?” The majority of the answers I got were something along the lines of “I don’t know enough” and I thought, well I can help with that. I can’t solve the crisis of gun violence on my own, and I can’t make people listen to things they don’t want to listen to, but I can help the people who want to learn. I do this through a monthly newsletter called Bullet Points.
We’ll tackle one big picture issue around gun violence or gun reform. I’ll share resources to help with further learning, and issue a challenge to you. I’ll also share some personal updates, favorite things, and funny things, too. Because gun violence is not a pleasant topic, and we’re gonna need to laugh some to stay in it for the long haul, amen?
You’ll get an edition of Bullet Points sent right to your inbox every month, with the occasional rogue email every now and then if someone important comes up.
About Me
I’m Taylor. I was wounded in a school shooting in 2013, and I don’t want any more people to go through what I went through.
I’m writing a book about it, and can’t wait to share it with you.
